Brought my M&P 9 home from store today. Gotta wait a week until I get my Authority to Transport before I get it to the range for a shoot. I also melted my first 6 pounds of wheel weights. I only have about 100 more to go and then I will get the molds and melting pot to start my own bullet factory :-). I am looking at 124 grain bullets but not sure if the 115 or 147 is better. Anyone have a suggestion? I have 1000 HP copper plated on order.

I use the 147's in my Glock and a few friends use this weight in their M&P's.

I picked the 124-125 grain bullets for my 9mms because they seems to offer the best blend of velocity and penetration.

Back "in the day" I used to cast the 124gn 9mm Conical, using a RCBS two cavity mold, for use in my 586 S & W revolver. A very accurate projectile at target velocities.

Many of the 9mm shooters in our Club used the same bullet in their 9mm autos with good success. As Punkin said...a good blend of velocity and penetration...add accuracy to that "list" as well. At 10gr heavier than the 115gn, and only 22gn lighter than the 147gn, I think it is a good compromise between the lighter and heavier projectiles and has much to offer.

Cheers, Vince

now all you need is some of those gangsta sights!
You know the ones.
They mount on the right side of the gun so you can look cool while you hold and fire it sideways.
