I was reading my e-mail just a while ago and came across this story of a man that was attacked by a mountain lion. To him it was no big deal, he continued on his hike.

After the attack, he didn't want to be detered from his habitual gold panning.

He he got back home, his wife couldn't get him to go see a doctor.

"I poured some hydrogen peroxide on my arm, and it feels fine," Biggs said. "It's black and blue from the wrist to the elbow and you can still see the puncture wounds, but it feels fine."

Lucky that the bear he was observing came to his defense.

Good thing for mama bear to save his butt.

Slim, I seen the video posted by Suz and also seen on the news tonight about a lot of storm damage. Hopefully you made it thru unscathed.

WOW...that guy is lucky that momma bear felt the lion was a threat to her cub...he may not have been so lucky otherwise.

I saw the video of the truck trailers being through around like bits of newspaper. That is just plain scary and shows the awesome power of a Tornado.

Are all our Nut mates safe down in Texas? Report in guys, let us know how you are.
