I managed to pick up 119 pieces of 30-06 brass for my wifes rifle for $7.50 and I got some IMR 4350 at $15.00 dollers a pound. I also picked up a kick a$$ MTM zombie ammo can.

tlo, glad you found a good find. I didn't make it to the gun show this weekend. I'm traveling to much and falling behind at home. Have fun with the test loads.

I'd say you scored!! That ammo can would make a great lunch box too. I dunno about the price of the brass, but I just bought a pound of H4895 for $24, so I'd say $15 is scary cheap. Where was the show, Portland?

I can buy the exact same powder out here Suz...although it's called AR2206H here. ADI manufacture that particular powder and its marketed in the US by Hogdon as H4895. A 500gm tin (1.102 lb) costs me AUD$39 (US$41.90), and the powder is made here in Australia !!! Go figure?

The show was at the Douglas county Fair grounds. I usually pay about $22 on powder per pumd at bi mart and as for the brass it figures out to be about 6 cents a piece and the cheapest I have been able to find it really is at about 40 cents a piece so I would say I got a bargain. I just finished up the first test loads for my wife this evening. I hope to have her loaded up with plenty of ammo to last her a while in about a month. Topping the rounds with Hornady 150 gr SSTs.

Just a note for this fine snowy morning...New Zealand got their butt kicked by the Samoans. Just thought you'd like to know.
Cost of powder. SCAREY...$15.00 is a fine price in this day and age. That's how much it cost 5 or 6 years ago. Just before the age of obama.

Just looked at my Bi-Mart receipt and I paid $24.48 for powder....I live in a depressed area too. Oh well did I ever tell you I had good luck? Least I'm not buying in NewZee.
Doesn't Bi-Mart sound like a good place to find a homo? I always buy ammo, guns, powder and bullets there, never seen any homo for sale.
