And I know what happens when you pass one of these trailers on a motorcycle wearing a helmet and glasses instead of a full face shield!

L O L...I was traveling north on I-5 (runs north and south on the west coast) when a motorcyclist disappeared behind my horse trailer. He wouldn't pass or get out of there. Guess he figured he could draft me or get out of the wind that way. I figured that this would be a good time for Cutter to piss in the trailer. About a mile later he did. I was laughing my a$$ off when he passed me drenched with horse piss. Served him right.

That's when I put that sign on the back of the trailer "Hope Your Windshield Wipers Work". People drive up, read it and back off laughing. It works. I have few tailgaters.

those are some seriously heavy horse! great to see the hunting birds out on show and that is a fine looking dog you have Aloys the nearest I could pick the breed would be a wire haired pointer as they look very similar.

Stovey:

"When you want to "taste" this celebration, check this: www.rtv.be/artikels/ni...tusviering

and after 10 seconds very little of me with a brown hat, folowed by Marijke and her dog Hera.
when you look real fast at 10 seconds... but when you're a bit late you see my dog's sister with her boss Marijke."

and these dogs are cesky fousecs, czech dogs, from the outside almost like the german Drahthar, but the czechs are much softer, better willing to please their master. And I say "soft", but once you let them hunt...
My Hela is a real allrounder and she's still learning because she's now only 2,5 years old. She's with me almost all the time. Hunting doves, she will bring them all in. Hunting hare and pheasants: she'll find them, point them and once shot, will get them. I even take her on the high seat for roedeer (and shot a buck that way when she was 3 months old). She even warns me when somebody is coming or when some deer comes in sight. She often sees them before I do. And once shot she'll search for it, still without teaching, just from experience (of helping me harvest 10-15 roedeer)
Lucky I didn't teach her how to shoot or I had to stay home Smile

Edit: I changed the link so that you come straight where you want to be.

she sounds great, it just feels right to have your dog with you when out hunting, I took my wee cocker deerstalking the other day, havent done that for 20 years as we arent supposed to have a dog on DOC land. I wont be leaving him behind much anymore, stuff the rules there are no kiwis up there which is the main reason, he is by my side or on a lead so he isnt going to get into anything hes not allowed, and I wont have any trouble tracking a holed deer with the super sniffer on the job.
just checked out the dog breeds and yes the wirehair is the same breed Very Happy they sure are a fine pooch.

Did I mention she also likes to drink? Even beer...
she should... the Czech being the greatest beerdrinkers in the world (since so many belgian hunters go visit that country Smile )
