TC Hawkin .50. From a kit that a gunsmith friend of mine gave me from the best parts that he could find in Seattle. He went around to the various gun shops and picked from several kits each part. I guess it is almost a custom TC Hawkin. I have to sneak it off the mantle if I want to shoot it and if I get a scratch on it I live in the dog house. ( I have GOT to get a bigger dog so I can have a bigger dog house).

Wink I guess that I may as well officially state that I am also into smoke poles. Hence the handle "Flint54". Not only is it my online name but is is also part of all my e-mail addresses, my liscence plate on my Cherokee and reversed to "Flint45" my 240SX liscence. I have 4 smokepoles at this time. A TC .50 percussion, A Traditions inline .54, and 2 Custom Flintlocks, a .54 Shocked and a .45 Shocked Shocked . Both customs were made by yours truely and my Avatar is a pic of my .45 not my .54. Love them all, I have more fun at the range with them than any other firearm, they are also the most cost evvective day at the range.

I used to bow hunt and compete in 3D Tourneys but have left that behind as it is tooooo )()*&^$&^(^(^ HOT here in NC to bow hunt!!!! Crying or Very sad Also the last time I was out bowhunting I wound up standing on 2 Cottonmouths in the swamp and had a copperhead swim between my legs! NO MORE!!! Wink

I have a couple of bigbore airgun, .308 and .50, seeing as how Lewis and Clarks used airguns on their expeditions, I guess they are primitive weapons. I use mine to hunt hogs in Texas. The guns are very effective and lethal.
I am new here, and really like this site, thanks to all who are responsible. I live in Missouri, and hunted a lot until I broke my back and had a failed surgery, which led to retirement. I sold all my TC handguns, but kept the TC 209x.50 I got into bigbore airguns some time ago, as well as several high-power precharged .22 airguns. I will post some pictures one day. Dennis

I have a Mathews bow that I purchased used and a Knight Disc Rifle in 50 cal. I have taken many deer with the Knight. No deer taken yet with the Mathews. I love the Knight rifle .... very accurate and lethal on deer with Barnes 300 gr hollow point.

Denskin- Welcome to the forum, there are a nice bunch of people here.
I have several charcoal burners, but just don't seem to shoot them much since I have been playing with those new fangled rear loaders :).
In the reproduction side I have a 75 cal. Brown Bess, 58 cal. Rem. Zouave, 44 cal. Rem 1858 cap and ball, 2 45 cal. boot pistols and a 45 cal. Kentucky flint that I built from scratch. Originals, U.S. Springfield 1848, 69 cal. and a British? mil. flintlock, 69 cal.
For bows- just my dad's 45 pound English long bow.

I OWN TWO PSE COMPOUND BOWS AND LOVE TO HUNT WITH THEM. ONE OF THEM IS AN OLD BOW BUILT OUT OF A BUNCH OF PARTS AND THE OTHER IS A RAGEOUS I GOT IN 99. I WAS LUCKY TO DRAW AN ARCHERY BULL PERMIT HERE IN AZ IN 2003 AND TOOK A NICE 7X7 THAT GROSS SCORED 372. I HAVE A PICTURE OF IT AS A MOUNT IN MY PHOTO ALBUM HERE. THIS WAS THE SECOND BULL WITH MY RAGEOUS. THE FIRST ONE WAS NOT QUITE AS BIG, A 6X6 THAT WOULD MAYBE GO 290 BUT I DONT REALLY CARE ABOUT THE SCORE. I HAVE ALSO TAKEN 1 BIG BLACK BEAR AND A NICE 4POINT MULEY WITH MY OLD BOW. ARCHERY SEASON STARTS IN 2 WEEKS SO MAYBE I WILL FIND TIME TO GO LOOK FOR SOME DEER.
