The French army, in WW II, surendered to the Germans without a shot being fired...well almost. So the rifle was "never fired" and dropped when they surrendered - "only once".

PaulS!! Oh alright....but still...well ok, how hard was it dropped and did he drop it on his toe or on the rocks? If he dropped it on the rocks it might be dented. If he dropped it on his toe HE might be dented. If it was never fired in battle does that really count as never been fired? I might have a rifle like that but I wouldn't say it's never been fired. Has it ever been cleaned? I'd wanna know that fer sher.
got sm munchies

Suz, look at the french soccer team now, it's about the same. Some of them are already back home. They already dropped their shoes that were just used once or twice...
"l'histoire se répète"
meaning: history repeats itself all the time...
This time not an easy joke, but once you understand... so bend your head left or right and let it flow together...
PS: if you learn to sit and bark, you might get some donuts... just watch how a german Teckel makes eye-contact when he (or she) needs something. Sad eyes and pulling your lip into a smile most often do the trick

So that's why those French 7.62x39s on Cabela's military service rifle rack looked so new!

Bushy!! pay no mind to him, his translations need some translation. We're buddies anyway. He can call me a dog all he wants. Here's the solution "so bend your head left or right and let it flow together", see? works for me! WTF? Hey BushM, if I pull my lip up into a smile will you give me a donut?
bark! bark!

Mes excuses. Entschuldige bitte. Sorry or even in chinese: "Solly".
but who did I call "dog"? I wouldn't dare! I just pointed out a trick to get a donut that seems to work quite well here in my house
but it's strange how a mind works when entering this section of the forum, is this the real "nuts-section"?

I actually HAVE one of those rifles!!! 7.5x54mm!! It is basically a .30-40Krag level. It is a MAS36. Oneo f the most ugly rifles I have seen but the price was right when I got it and I didn't have a .30cal the time. Price was around $110US with taxes. I can use 6.5Swede brass to make cases for the rifle, then just fire-form them to my chamber. Was a good investment as they are now going for two to three times that amount on GB.

@Suz: the magic only works when you sit and bark first...
by the way: why is there a hole in a donut? Is it made so that you can put it on all kind of round stuff to attrack donut-seeking mammals?
And these crunchy donuts, is this how the french were conquered? Did them germans put a donut on their muzzle? If so, it would have dimished the possible damage when dropping the rifle... maybe the donut is still on the muzzle offering Suz a chance to get a donut without special tricks...
@Arron: when you look at history (and at the recent results of the french soccer team), do you trust that rifle enough to shoot it?
Does Chambered also own such a french gun?
