Good news today. I got a trophy tag for any antlered deer today, one of only 80 for a combined three game unit area. This is a good area that has healthy populations of both mulie and Coues and very low draw odds.
Now, the planning begins.

Congrats! My dad and I forgot to put in for the draw this year. Thinking about buying leftovers for unit 31.

We decided to go to 30B. Hopefully it wont be chock full of illegal trash and trails like 36A.

First off, congradulations about getting your tag. I got a great elk tag about ten years ago. Went to wyoming to bag an antelpe last year. This year, I ended up with a left over coues deer tag in 30B here in Az. I don't have a clue of what this area is like so I'll be scouting a new area.

In Massachusetts you get a 95% chance of drawing a tag for a doe ...

In this part of NC you can shoot 6 does if you like. You get 6 tags, two of which can be used for antlered deer.

Here in Washington (the state) you can elect bow or firearm but only one.
You get a limit of one animal per season and the license cost is over $100 for a resident.
