Cool I found a New & Exciting Site that a Great many here may wish to check out. David White has moved to upstate New York and will be doing business there. He does work on Handi Rifles, Encores, Contenders, Savages, Remingtons and Ruger #1s along with a host of others. I have not personally had any work done by him as of yet but I WILL in the near future! A man up my alley!!! I'll keep you posted. Do Check him out!! Cool

I had David put a 2" muzzle brake on my 15" Encore barrel. He did a fantastic job. He also cut an 11 degree target crown and I floated the barrel. It now shoots sub MOA groups easily. David does great work and is very good to work with.

It's a 308....and with the break, it shoots about like a 22-250 or a 243. LOUD as h**l, but no kick at all. Cool It really is a pleasure to shoot. Accuracy looks promising, too. Just got to shoot a little bit a week or so ago, and had several 2 shot groups @ 50 yards (while initially sighting in) that were in the same elongated hole.

I have a Encore 50 caliber muzzel loader, have contemplated getting a couple extra barrels for it, 223 heavy, 243 heavy, 22K hornet. Fox Ridge outfitters has custom barrels, I think I might make that my next gun purchase.
