I stumbled across this video and it shows the bullet on the way to different targets from glass to concrete. The best part is with the high speed camera you can actually see the bullet rotate on the way towards it's target.

Excellent photography! There was a bunch of shots where you could see the jacket of the bullet peeling back like a banana.

Pretty good examples of how the kinetic energy of the bullet gets used up deforming the bullet, deforming the target, creating heat and, although we can't hear it in the video, making sound.

Cool stuff!
I relally enjoy watching the bullet from behind through a spot scope go downrange leaving a wave trail. Never get tired of it. Bullets are cool!

Well, I must say, its interesting at around the 5:15 mark, what a rifle's FMJ does to the jell, as compared to later when a "hunting" rifle round does at 5:40
