I hear ya Radar...I thought exactly the same thing. To make it more sporting you could increase the size of the shot, or even try slugs.

I was watching a TV program that says those things are introduced and are killing the local fish stocks. If so OPEN SEASON I say!

I just had a flashback. I row on our nearby lake in a scull (27' long and 12" wide). I've even had a 5' Long Nose Gar jump out of the water and tag my wrist (last time I wore white sweat bands). This would be hazardous for any rower!!
