NYC is a strange place. I live 45 miles outside the city, and commute to Manhattan every day to work. Great place to visit, great place to work, I just wouldn't want to live there either. There is a bunch of crazy laws and restrictions that don't apply to the rest of the state. If you live in NYC, you have to have a permit for ALL firearms, Rifles, Shotguns, and Handguns. I don't have to register my Rifles, or Shotguns, but I would have to have a permit for a Handgun if I had one. That permit would NOT valid in NYC, nor would a permit from any other County in the state. NY in general just isn't a gun freindly State, but NYC is CRAZY. wtf
