due to global warming ,things are changing fast here in the north, climates going wacky so are the bears as you can see, soon there will be no polar bears and then the grizzly will take over the north |
I work at a lodge where we view polar bears and their newborns when they first emerge from their maternity dens ,one of these days we'll see these grizzlor bears cubs look up Watch'ee.com and you'll see

If we loose the polar bear due to the natural climate changes that are occuring, so be it...It was just their time to go.

thats why this is so sad Bushmaster its not due to natural climate changes its due to man made climate changes.
for if it was natural the polar cap reduction rate would be slower than it is.
and a polar bear and a grizz have the same body temps which allow the hybrid to be born.
they are both of the same phylae or family
its not like a canine breeding to a feline.
now the liger thing I think was man fooling with dna splicing but not sure
I havent done my research on the reproduction of big cats.

Man is not causing this warming of the planet!!!You seem so much about history...Go back a couple hundred thousand years and note the temperature changes over those many years. In fact the earth was cooling about 30 years ago...Another thing. Global warming is followed by ice ages...We are not the cause...Nature is and the normal evolution of this planet...

Vint you are correct that Mars is heating up as well.
Also note the Vikings settled 1000 years ago in places on Greenland that are now covered with permafrost. Permafrost was thought to be there since the ice age originally, now it turns out it froze over in the last 1000 years since the settlements were built.
Humans are full of themselves if they think we can control the weather (No offence keetoowah this statement is directed at these "left wing green types" who blame man for everything). In my not so subtle opinion.

No offense taken... I never said humans control weather I understand the physics of emissions and of the industrial ages have excellerated the natural rate of heating was all l was saying.
I know its a natural process just like the wobbling of the earth is one more degree off than it was long time ago, and that is why the Saraha is no longer lush and now the biggest desert due to the Moon moving away from us. not a man made thing.
and I dont have left green wings.
Vint2
with Mars we have been there since the landing of the two rovers, Spirit that landed on Mars on Jan. 3, 2003 and the rover Opportunity on Jan. 24, 2003. they still send us info like temperatures and geological and higher tech shtuff.
difference between Earth and Mars is that the sub tropics of Mars is far colder: this is mainly due to Mars being further from the sun than Earth. In the afternoon, maximum, summer temperatures reaching a peak of only -12° F, (-25° C). The minimum temperature is -128° F, (-89° C), just prior to sunrise: this is the sub-tropics, during summer (celsius for you canadains and ozzies and other metric folk.)
No where in any of my classes have I heard a professor say Mars is heating up.
We are in the works of sending up the mechanisms that will produce green house affects to warm Mars up to where we can be comfortable on it.
Go figure HUMANS controlling weather on another planet..Dimitri
It has also been in the works for man to be there by 2018 only a 11 years away.
Lockheed Martin, ITT, & Boeing have been working for the past 13 years or so on the living units we will have there so we can Terra Form Mars
so much now for the Astronomy lesson one of my passions if ya'll couldnt tell.
regards

Nah this heating system in my opinion is caused by the sun.
Mars:

www.timesonline.co.uk/...720024.ece
The sun releasing more radiation now then it did before!:

Conicidance ?? I think not.
By the way we are going pretty off topic now.
Still it doesn't surprise me they are mixing, I mean different breeds of dogs mix right ??

Humans on earth are guilty of only 1% of "green house gasses". Our oxygen "rich" (21%) atmosphere is higher then it has been in more then a million years. Nitrogen (and enert gase) is at approximately 76% +/- a few. The last 3% +/- a few is of mixed gases one of which is CO2. There is very little change in these pecentages over the many years that man has been on earth. Keep in mind that if the oxygen percentage drops to 18% you are above 10,000 feet and may need suplimental oxygen above 15,000 feet. There hasn't been very much change in earth's normal evolution since man arrived. In fact they(the scientists) don't believe that the earth will warm up as much as it did after the last ice age where it got down right tropical in some places and down right dry in others. Man has little or no effect on this planet except to garbage it up...Live stock do more then we do and most of their contribution is Methane gas. Remember what trees and plants need to survive and what we need to survive. Guess what we give off and what trees and plants give off...The more trees we plant the more oxygen we have and the more we breath the more CO2 the trees have. This is one good visious cycle...

of course there is dear.
there have been more than one ice age, so its pretty safe to say there should be another.
