Public holiday today, so I reckon it is a good day to do some casting.
Using Mihec's MP 360-640L 4 cavities mold to stock up on my .38 target projjies. (link MP 360-640L )
Will start as soon as the shadow goes past the table under the awning.

Vince, I've never heard of anyone casting their own shot before! Of course I'm not much of a shotgun guy.

Thanks guys.
@Vince, the alloy I use is what I dug out of the shooting berm at the club.
Excellent source of pre-alloyed shooting lead, as my club is lead bullet only club there are very minimal amount of jacketed stuff (mostly used by the police that practice there)

Been casting my own shot for some time mate, and it is pretty much as good as factory stuff or that cast in a shot tower.
We are paying about $90 for 10kg of shot so casting shot is worthwhile. I pay around $5 kg for Linotype and around $2 kg for lead. The mix I use is one part Lino to two parts lead, so it is only $9 for three kg...a third of the price of commercial shot...and it works well.
