well you first ban fully auto weapons
that just pisses off a few and the others say oh well its not my cuppa tea so too bad.
then you have a crack at military style semiautos
again the others say oh well not my cuppa tea and we dont really NEED them....
then magazine capacity
then pistol grips
then
and then
and then
and then finally you are right royally screwed and have nobody but yourselves to blame.

That is exactly what they are trying to do in Australia Elvis.

So far they have banned semi auto rifles, shotgun and also pump action shotguns. Then they put an upper limit of pistol calibre...max .38 calibre. Next is anybody's guess.

I call it "Death by a Thousand Cuts".

England used the same approach, all the while teaching the younger generation how bad guns are. Today, the common man in England believes that guns are bad and anyone who would use one is also bad.
