How to down a drink

A man is sitting at a bar staring dejectedly at his drink; occasionally he would give a heavy sigh.
Sitting next to him is a loud, drunk cowboy. The cowboy, after having several more drinks, and having watched the forlorn man sit there and just stare at his drink, quickly reaches over, grabs the mans drink, and downs it. He then slams the glass on the bar and sayes to the man "Thats how to down a drink!". The man just looks at the cowboy and starts to cry. Stop crying says the cowboy, and I'll buy you another drink.
That is not it, the man sobs, today has been the worst day of my life. I was late for work this AM because my alarm clock stopped, my boss was so mad he fired me, when I went out into the parking lot, my car was gone, the police said it had been stolen, nothing they could do. I took a taxi home. When I got out of the car I found that I had left my wallet with all of my credit cards in the taxi. The taxi drove off. When I walked into the house, there was my wife with the gardener.
I came over to this bar, and I have been sitting here all afternoon contemplating suicide,and now you just drank my poison Sad
