Well, congratulations, you have fullfilled your function in life, remove all the other fluff in life and this is it.
You are about to be amazed, shocked, frustrated and I hope very happy.
Now before things get too advanced, go into the man cave and have a good look around. Any well loved motorcycles, guns or car projects sitting in there that are a long term or future rebuild??
Yes? Imediately go and buy some boxes, pull whatever it is apart, put in box's with all the notes and photo's you will need to reassemble.
Why? because any and all of your current assembled items are now subject to the "we need" function that comes with children. Assembled they are worth something toward the new must have home applience, new bigger home or an on suite.
They are worthless in box's therefore you have a better chance of keeping them.
I speak from bitter experience and the cunning of others who have done this.
Enjoy your kids, there is nothing quite like parenthood.

awesome mate! You ain't shooting blank..

Here's an advise from a dad...

Get some sleep... Because once they born, you'll never 'sleep' again..
so get some sleep mate...

And when you're awake, give SWMBO a good massage, you'll never be a dad without her carrying for you.

Congratulations Ron, you will have the best times of your life with your kids. No doubt about that. I have 2 daughters and can still recall when mine were so small they their head was in my palm, and the feet were just touching my elbow inner joint. Or when they fell asleep laying on my chest; I didn't want to move. Not out of fear of waking them, but out of fear of losing the moment.
And then they grow up and its the kids fighting, arguing, yelling, and whining!! Laughing but just one smile and an " I love you dad" and your heart melts again and you realize its all worth it.

Congrats again, and dont worry, you wont have to grow up. In fact, you will be more a kid than ever with your own kid around.

get some sleep and stash some cash cause they get more expensive as soon as they realize what a brand name item is!

Oh, on the massage, when with child my now Ex wife preferred a foot and lower back massage. Especially in the later term of pregnancy.

Took me 5 times to figure out what was causing this increase in my house that never was big enough. No matter how many times I added on or bought bigger.

Congrats to the [soon to be] mother. and [soon to be] dad...Stand by...

Yes, congrats, ITD! Soon it will be time to start planning for number two! You can't just bring one into the world because they will think they are the center of the universe. Wish we had at least 3!

As others have said. congratulations, got two myself, they are great. Hopefully you will catch the dreaded fathers affliction known as Midnight Elbow. That way whenever the youngster wakes up in the middle of the night, you just roll over and give the missus a nudge with your elbow, and she gets up and feeds the kid. Luckily mine were both breast fed and I didnt have the necessary equipment for the midnight feeds. MY missus didnt reckon it was fair, but I am thouroughly in agreement with the status quo regarding things like that. Very Happy Very Happy
