This time at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin.

Sikhs are good people & no friends of the islamists.
I wonder if the latter has anything to do with this.

Very near my hometown, from what I understand and read, the Sikhs is a religion based in India and has no ties with Islamists. Either way, 7 people so far were needlessly killed among the many others who were injured.

Its a sad indictment and you got to feel sorry for them.

What I don't understand is that most sikh men carry an ornamental knife, ornamental it may be but they're up to 12 inches long and razor sharp. (Useless bit of information).

Apparently true, however the old addage about taking a knife to a gun fight holds a bit of water, most people wont have the training, aggression or guts to charge down a gunman with a knife.

A trained guy with the skills can win over a gunman inside 7 meters as you are probably well aware from your training.

And this being a temple would have been a weapon free zone (again).

Seems the shooter was ex US Army, "Less than honorable discharge" in 1998. Also a "white supremacist". So what do we ban now, the military or white people? OH! I keep forgetting, its the evil influence of the gun...

White Supremacist...says it all. He would have found a way to do what he wanted with or without a firearm.

I feel for those that were killed, and the families of all, but I doubt there was anything, short of killing this guy before the event, that would have stopped him.

Yep we even got them here in NZ, there was one about 22 years ago who decided to take out the Police National Computer system in Wanganui
Neil Roberts was his name, blew himself up with geli, made a big mess but no damage. Well not to the computer system anyway.
