Pretty interesting and looks like it would be easy to make. Needs a better release though, more like the ones they use for bows. Wonder how fast the projectile is moving?

If you used the 1/4" or 3/8" steel ball bearings you could use it for small game hunting. You could include it in with you 3 favorite rifles as a survival tool.

I watched my son hit a hare fair square in the shoulder from around 10 feet on sunday with a steel ball 1/2" size and that sucker just took off like nothing happened!!!!! I saw it hit and heard the thump.
I was going to post a picture of my feet and hands in this forum because I lept out of my tractor today and RAN down a young hare!!! plurry near had a corinary but I managed to stick with it and got a hold of it. brought it home showed the kids and released it again!!!
who siad hunting cant be catch n release!!!
