Made a traffic stop today in the rain. Guy said he was speeding cause "it was raining so hard, I couldnt see the speed limit sign". wtf

OK, you go with that one. 83 in a 55, cost him $281.

Good one. Bet you get some funny excuses. What is it about bad weather that brings out the nut jobs? Up here it is the guys and gals who think a 4wd means speed up and drive crazy when it snows.

the ones that really peeve me are the numbskulls who drive silver grey vechiles around on a rainy day WITHOUT headlights on!!!! from up in a truck the road is silver grey the sky is silver grey and these cars just blend right in and dissapear. the worst parts are when the road is smooth and has a thin layer of water on it it reflects the sky and is just a big ol silver ribbon.

That seems to be universal. I still don't understand how they get the idea that a 4X4 will stop better.

I got an idiot driving using his cell phone Easter Sunday - His excuse, after telling me to wait a minute while he finished his call was his daughter was having baby at the hospital!

Suffice to say he was fined!
