In all honesty, I simply cannot believe that the leader of a Nation would say something like this. It is downright disgusting. Mad

I received the following in an email from a friend in MO.

Military Private Insurance Proposal

The following has been checked out through www.snopes.com and also www.ask.com, the story appeared in the Washington Times.

Chew on this for a while.

THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE MOST OUTRAGEOUS STATEMENT EVER MADE BY A PUBLIC OFFICIAL LET ALONE BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. AND THIS GUY IS OUR "COMMANDER IN CHIEF". HE IS A DISGRACE.

UNBELIEVABLE PRESIDENT???

HERE IS HIS RESPONSE WHEN HE BACKED OFF FROM HIS DECISION TO REQUIRE THE MILITARY PAY FOR THEIR WAR INJURIES.

WHAT AN EMPTY HEADED PERSON HE MUST BE....

Bad press, including major mockery of the plan by comedian Jon Stewart, led to President Obama abandoning his proposal to require veterans carry private health insurance to cover the estimated $540 million annual cost to the federal government of treatment for injuries to military personnel received during their tours on active duty. The President admitted that he was puzzled by the magnitude of the opposition to his proposal.

"Look, it's an all volunteer force," Obama complained. "Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice? It doesn't compute.." "I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country, "Obama continued. "I wasn't asking for blood, just money.

With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I'd have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to try to help reduce the nation's deficit.

I guess I underestimated the selfishness of some of my fellow Americans."

Please pass this on to every one including every vet and their families whom you know. How in the world did a person with this mindset become our leader? I didn't vote for him!!! Mad

If this thinks he will ever get another vote from an Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard service member or veteran of a military service he ought to think it over.. If you or a family member is or has served their country please pass this to them. Please pass this to everyone .

I'm guessing that other than the 20-25 percent hardcore liberals in the US will agree that this is just another example why this is the worst president in American history. Remind everyone over and over how this man thinks, while he bows to the Saudi Arabian King.

Just wondering: how much money can be saved when you decrease all paychecks of politicians by 50 %. After all they should be publical servants, so let them serve... (and they are to blame for the recent economical crisis!)

Remind me not to get blown up or shot over here..... dont want to be a selfish drain on the system.... all those poor unfortunate illegal immigrants need the money for welfare that might otherwise be wasted on saving my worthless life.... after all I'm nothing but a stupid grunt.....

One must remember that snopes is a left leaning orginization.

Whether obama said these things or not does not release him from his original idea which could have led up to all of it in the first place. obama is NOT a supporter of the military. But we are one of his "tools" for his agenda and are a disposible commodity...

I got this message over a month ago by an email buddy of mine,and I thought it would have made more headway than now.Probably not on peoples minds with all of the othe O crap in the news like the oil leak in the gulf,o's multiple social security #s,o's multiple citizenship questions,o's lack of education records,o's passport questions,o's affilliation with bill ayers,and all of the other effin o-problems. wtf

I'm a serving Police Officer in NZ and have a number of Military contacts in the Airforce and Army. At least we know our center right Govt will back it's boys and girls in conflict both domestic and internationally. NZ Police and Military swerve in Afghanistan, Iraq, Soloman Islands and Timor.

Nothing suprises me that comes out of Obammy's mouth, including his feet.

On a lighter note, they just opened a brand new VA home and stuff out here in LaLa Land, if you can believe that. Nice spot too. Heard more's to come. One gent adressing the opening hit it right.
