Im loading 165grn SIE bthp amd SIE btsp for my 06.
Favorite load is 58grn IMR 4350 but have to hand measure each powder load as it doesn't seem to like my powder dropper.
I've tried H4350, Acc4350, IMR 4064, BLC2 and several others.
The IMR 4350 seems to give best groups.
Curious about the IMR 4007 from looking at burn rates and thinking it would go through my powder dropper.
Dont hear much about it. Any ideas?

Thnks Joe.
I was kinda hoping someone had loaded with it before I plunk down money for another can of "I got something that groups better than this" to hold a shelf down with all the other cans.

If you use winchester ball powder it will drop nice even charges. I have loaded the o6 with it and used it in my 270 before I got lazy and switched to ar2206 for everthing I load.

Welcome aboard Fredtay...grab a beer and pull up a stump mate.

There are quite a number of powders that don't meter too well through a powder dropper...but that is not a major problem or difficult to overcome. Consider doing as I do...I hand weigh every charge in my bullets. I drop the charge light and bring it up to the load with a powder trickler.

You only need drop the load a few tenths of a grain light, and it doesn't matter if the drop is short or not cause you will bring it up to speed anyway with the trickler. This also allows you to "drop" consistent loads resulting in consistent loads/accuracy.

Cheers, Vince

Welcome to Hunting Nut !!! Howdy

I used IMR4350 in my 06 when I was loading for it !!! Loved it !!!
I do however load all my rifle rounds as Vince is suggesting so it wasn't really an issue for me.
