My daughter to me shopping the other day. She decided that she wanted her own pistol. We found this Taurus in the used case but I couldn't find any signs of it being used. There are no marks on the bolt face, extractor, magazine, nothing that would suggested it was ever fired.

"In 1980, we purchased the Beretta factory in Sao Paulo, Brazil "lock, stock and barrel" and immediately sought to improve on the Beretta design, resulting in the popular and acclaimed Taurus 92 and 99 9mm pistols."
This is straight from the taurus web site. It looks feels a appears like the M9 I have only found a few small differences. I gave away a the extra magazines I had for the M9 so I am no 100% sure the mags are interchangeable. As soon as my brother gets home he has a couple mags I can try. It sure appears that they are the same.

Must be something in the air.
I think some shooting therapy is in order.

Went to the gun show in Forest Lake a couple of weeks ago.
Just went to look and not buy anything.
Then a vendor had a new Ruger Blackhawk .357 with a 6 1/2 inch barrel that was made in 1977.
Still in the box and the cost was $350.00.
Couldn't help it.
Boy does it shoot great, and it doesn't have that cussed writing on the barrel that says to look at the manual for safe shooting tips.
I'll have to tell the Wife about our new family member some day.

I hate that part. I have learned it's a lot easier to buy what my wife likes!
ElyBoy fyi I just had a job hit my desk Friday to bid a cabinet job down around Forest Lake. If we play our cards right we will be in your area in a couple months.

Give me a call when you decide to come down, and we will drink coffee at my house, and either do some hunting or shooting at the range.
The geese should be looking to be shot around here at about that time.
Might even go with you on the job since I did architectural millwork and cabinet making for 20 years, after coming down from the mines.
I even still have my shop in the garage.

Sounds good to me. It wouldn't be the first time the hunting / shooting equipment ended up in the job trailer.

Why ? Do guns have safety warnings on 'em .All my guns are used -and my rifle is older than some of you .My family has rifles so old -they make Bushy seem young!
