When I was a kid, those type of cat hides would bring 50 cents from the fur buyer (Roberts and Pickle Fur Company in Leander, Texas), but only if he was a good one.

In clothing stores, I've actually seen fur collars on coats that look like possums or raccoons. I assume that they were real. The first thing I did was smell of them. I don't think I'd want to wear one. It would give you the "pimp look."
