Makers Mark, C.R., and Jack Green Lable amongst my favorites.....
Shot glasses are for sissys unless of course they are used for the purpose of Boiler Making.

I must admit, I was spoiled rotten when I was in Scotland. I visited the Vat69 Bottling Plant and spent a couple of hours "taste testing". But without a doubt the nicerest, bestest and easiest Scotch to drink, and enjoy, I have ever encountered in one that I tasted in the Gordon Highlanders Regimental Headquarters in Aberdeen.....a beautiful single malt called St Dominie. Wish I could buy it here in Australia. Another lovely scotch is House of Lords, again, wish I could find it.
Most of the whisky from Eire is also nectar of the Gods. I think that the fact that most of it is triple distilled greatly adds to it being so smooth and "agreeable".
Damn, its 1:45am and I now have the urge for a dram or two. Bugger.
Cheers, Vince

What exactly are we finishing? LOL, When my Dad was posted in England during WW2, he got some leave time and got to travel up into Scotland and look up relatives. Every family still had their own still! Don't know if it's like that now.
He said that one uncle's home made whiskey was the best thing he ever had in his life, and he was prone to trying a few Scotches.

On this subject Vince----
A Mormon was seated next to an Aussie Man on a flight from Sydney.
After the plane was airborne, drink orders were taken.
The Aussie asked for a whiskey, which was promptly brought and placed before him.
The flight attendant then asked the Mormon if he would like a drink.
He replied in disgust, " I'd rather be savagely raped by a dozen whores than let liquor touch my lips."
The Aussie then handed his drink back to the attendant and said, "Me too. I didn't know we had a choice."
