A farmer friend called me last week because he has an infestation of gophers in his crop. I spent an hour or so last night picking off gopher after gopher with my .17 (topped with a Bushnell 3x9). Very satisfying way to spend some time. Can't wait until the kids are old enough to tag along.

My brother in Minnesota has been enjoying some fun with the gophers, too.

This weekend I'm going for some more prairie dogs in northern AZ, hope I have as much as you've been having.
