Sorry to hear of the burn out GJack, Im glad you and yours are uninjured. We experienced the same thing 6 years ago and have still not regained all we lost. Its very hard! I am sorry.
Being one who has been through this, I know the feeling of helplessness. You will prevail though. Very Happy

Helplessness , very much so ..
Yeah the insurance covered all the firearms , plus I had one very high dollar rifle insured seperately .. It was $125.00 year for it ..
Yeah there was some big checks , but it'll take years to fully recover , if ever at all ..
We're not gonna have all the "stuff" as before tho' ..

my heart and prayers go out to you. I also watched my home burn down and I know exactly what you're going through. it too was electrical.

Nah I appreciate the offer , but all is going great ..

I have more reloading equipment than before the fire , that a friend "gave" me , looks suspiciously very new and unused .. And I hadda lotta relaoding stuff ..

However I always accept firearms "donations" Very Happy

The friend who gave me the reloading stuff also gave me a shotgun a rifle and a revolver that were all "spares" ..
My brother gave me another pistol ..
Soon as we get a firm price on the new place ( already real close in the ball park ) , then I have "permission" to go to the candy store ..
