Model 2200 Winchester Pump 12 Ga Magnum shotgun barrell???

help Im in desperate Need of a Winchester model 2200 12 Ga Magnum pump Shotgun barrel for a 3" chamber.. This gun has never seen steel shot and is in mint shape i was going to get the barrel cut at a gunshop but its very sentimental to me so i dont want to do it unless i have to.. imm willing to pay anywhere from $50.oo to $400.oo for a barrel for a model 2200 winchester pump, or maby even another winchester 2200 12ga pump if the price is right.. Thankyou for your help

Ps. When i called winchester they told me they never knew the 2200 was even made and they think the Model 1200 is compatable, but im not too sure if it is considering the fact that they didn't know the 2200 existed aside from the COOEY but the gun i own isn't the cooey model.

Gooseguy, I cant be 100% certain but I believe that the 1200 and the 2200, along with the Ranger 120, are basically the same gun. Does your gun have the rotary bolt head like the 1200? If this is the case , you shouldnt have much trouble finding a barrel. Numrich gun parts incorporated has barrels for the 1200 for $50. Maybe someone here has a definite answer, good luck!

yah its got the hotary head .. but i still cant believe winchester has no idea that they made this model gun i dont even know what year this this was made lol

That is right the 2200 was only sold in Canada. I would have thought that Winchster would have know about it. Any whoo The 2200 and 1200 barrels are the same. If your 2200 is in realy good shape, I would mybe think about buying new or new to you shotgun and kepping the win. nice. Whene the collector finally figure out that there is a rare model they be no them like stink on sh.., money in hand. Most guys don't even Know that all the Cooeys are Canadian only Winchesters. The cooey 75 is a win. pre 64 model 70. You can even use model 70 barrels on them. Even now looking at the savage 22.s I think they bought out cooey after wichester left. Just go ot a gun shop and put a cooey 22 an old win 22 and a savage to gether and you will see how much the same they are.
