A young univeristy researcher goes up into the bush to interview this old trapper about his traditional lifestyle. When he gets to the old guy's cabin, the trapper is out splitting firewood in the yard, but takes a break and tells the guy to come on in for lunch. There's an old raggedy hound been laying there watching the trapper split wood and as soon as the trapper says "Walter!" the dog gets up and moseys into the cabin behind the two men.
The trapper's got a big iron pot of beans simmering on the stove and he slops up three plates, one for each of them and sets Walter's under the table. After all three of them chow down, Walter settles in under the visitors chair. The researcher gets out his notepad and tape recorder and starts asking his questions. After a few minutes he feels the need to relieve a little pressure so he squeaks one out really slow. It doesn't make any noise but it stinks to high heaven so the researcher scowls down at the dog and says "Tsk"
The old trapper scowls at the dog and growls "WALTER!!"
It happens again, so once again the university dude blames the dog and the old man simply growls "Walter...!!!"
Third time it happens the researcher looks down at the dog and does his little scowl and says "Tsk tsk" and the old trapper says "Walter, git outta there before that fella craps on ya!"
