I have a tc encore muzz and I am looking for the best and most accurate load possible. I currently am shooting hornaday sst 250g .50 cal. I am using .777 pellets. So far I have my gun sighted in at 200 yards -7 inches. I s going up in grains going to help that much. I just havent tried it yet. I feel very comfortable with the load now but I have an antelope hunt and I would like to get the best distance without hurting accuracy. Currently getting groups within 2.5" at 200 yds. I am just trying to figure out the energy part of it. Thanks John

I've found increasing over around 120 grains opens up my groups too much to be worth the velocity increase. I can compensate for drop at known range with a aiming adjustment.
