I need some advice on a gun.
Marlin Camp 9, 9mm carbine with 1.5-4.5 variable scope, 1-10 rd. magazine and 4-30 rd. magazines. Excellent condition, $300.00.
I have been looking at this gun for a while from a private gun seller.
when I first saw this gun, I was not impressed and did not even give it a second thought.
I have a berreta 9 mm. pistal. that I shoot alot and reload for.
the 9mm. may not have the best distance of long rang. but I know it has some good penitration at closer ranges.
the 9mm. pistal is alot of fun to shoot. after a while, I started thinking, if I had this Marlin Camp 9, 9mm carbine, I could shoot the same bullets, very cheap to shoot. It would have better accruacy and problem more power with a longer barrle than my pistal.
has any of you seen one of these guns , and have you shot it. ?
let me know what your thoughts are of this Marlin Camp 9, 9mm carbine.
and if you think the it is resonalbly priced.
Thanks in advance.

$300 dollars is a good price but the 9mm is not powerful enough for anything but varmints at close range. Ballistically the 9mm and 38spl are so close that if you just looked at bullet weights and velocities you couldn't tell the difference.
