The Mini Palma 100 yard .22 match was a blast. We had cool weather with overcast skies an light but steady winds which made holding hard critical to shooting a good score since the wind was not really a factor.
The picture below shows the targets compared to a standard small bore 100 yard target and a Highpower 600 yard target reduced for 100 yards. The bulls and scoring rings are a lot tighter so you are really punished for a bad shot. Sighting bulls on the left and record bulls on the right, unlimited sighting in shots (sighters) on the top "800" yard target, only two sighters on the "900" and "1000" yard targets.
15 shots per bull for a total of 450 possible points.
448-with 33 x's won the overall match. 446-16x was fired by a junior girl with iron sights, I was lucky enough to only drop 8 points and post the 4th highest score of the day with a 442-21x.
I shot Wolf Match Target ammo and it definitely went right where I pointed it. The one 8 and six 9's were all on call. Worth the 12 pennies per pull of the trigger.
