I stopped in a gun shop to get some shotgun ammo for small game season and was amazed to see shelves loaded with .22 ammo. Some was high priced and I passed on the costly stuff. There were Winchester .22 l.r. bulk packs of 235 rounds of copper-plated hollow points for $16.99. I adhered to the 3-box limit per day and walked out very happy. Hope they still have it when i go back to pick up the shotgun ammo that I ordered. All the best...
Gil

Not a bad deal Gil...one can never have too much rim fire ammo. Last time I bought .22 ammo I paid $35 for a 525 count box of Federal Champion, so it looks like we are paying similar prices, not counting exchange rates.

Wow, I seen lots of 22 LR also but hadn't look at the price. I still have several boxes of the 555 unopened. Think I paid $9 but that was before the frenzy.

Haven't seen any 22 ammo in North Idaho for years now.
