The New Ammunition That Has Gun Owners Drooling
They call it the R.I.P. round and with good reason. G2 Research has released a new ammo that is taking the market by storm and has gun owners all over the country trying to find where to pick some up.

Interesting, looks like the afterburner nozzle on the back end of a fighter jet engine.

Nasty stuff on jello and balloons! The full auto results in jello left the little projectiles pretty shallow, wonder if they penetrate very deep after going through clothing. Well I think they went too far with the little prongs but it's cool looking.

Well another expanding design, purely for self defense..
Pretty impressive to look at.

No thanks. I'll stick with my 185 grain Hornady JHP/XTP over 7.8 grains of WSF for my .45 ACP.

I'm with Bushy on this one. But I'll stick to the 140 JHP at 1470 fps from my 357.
After it has been onthe market for 5 years I will tell you what I think of the ammo - but with all the hype they have a lot to live up to.

Very good choice Paul. I use the Remington 140 grain SJHP in my .38s and my .357 Magnums. I've taken deer with that bullet and a 4 3/4" Colt SAA.
When I carry (CCW) my Mod 19 I use the Hornady 140 grain JHP/XTP.

It is, for me at least, the best all round bullet for the 357.
It isn't a man stopper like the 45 ACP or the 40 S&W but it is a killer.

Whilst Im no hand gun expert I'd love to see what they're going to do with a shotgun round - that would be very messy and a lot of fun.
