just got back from my AZ.desert bighorn sheep hunt in unit 45A. it was truley the hunt of a lifetime. was in the field for 14 days. saw about 50 sheep total mostley smaller rams and ewes. was hunting a very nice ram for a couple of days when we wathed him being led away by a ewe when we last saw them they where three miles away and still going, never saw him again.we then started looking for the second bigest ram that we had seen. picked him up late the next evening and watched him that nite and the next morning till he bedded down.stalked to within 200 yards of where he was bedded across a ravine. waited a few muinets for him to come out from behind the palo verde tree he was laying behind. one shot with the 7mm hand load and he dropped like a switch was turned off.I would like to thank my guide gary allen for the best hunt I have ever been on. I learned sooo much. Oh yeah the sheep scores 161 6/8
