I believe Elvis means they won't be reproducing...

I don't think Elvis and Co. are quite as sentimental about Bacon and Ham as my buddy got about his turkeys.

Those pigs are coming along mighty fine! Going to be great table fare.

We bought some chicks to turn into egg layers to replace the older hens we currently have. Store goofed and we got 2 "meaties". Holy cow... never raised those before, they grow ridiculously fast. We will be harvesting them in another week or two (harvestable at 8-10 weeks). Told the family to NOT get attached to them hehe.

Best food is food you grow / harvest yourself!

a gathering of kanuka/manuka and then 2 quick shots from .45 long colt later they were off to get singed/murawaied

a quick touch up with lpg blow torch and out with the poohs n wees bits

then to skin out the wee sets of "back wheels" from the three little pigs that made mistake of letting us get close enough to shoot them this morning!!!!
