No. It's an insect spy drone for urban areas, already in production, funded by the US Government. It can be remotely controlled and is equipped with a camera and a microphone. It can land on you, and it may have the potential to take a DNA sample or leave RFID tracking nanotechnology on your skin. It can fly through an open window, or it can attach to your clothing until you take it in your home.

me thinks if it can take DNA it could give leathal injection just as easy!!!!

I'd be surprised if it could mate...I don't think there is a poison lethal enough in the tiny quantity a wee beastie like this could carry and administer.

I am also skeptical about the ability for it to fly with the type of wings shown. I know they have built a bird that can fly by "flapping" it's wings, but it is the size of a smallish eagle and it is rather ungainly in flight. It certainly is not capable of the precise flight and positioning they are claiming they require for this little bugger.
