Most of the cats around here catch lead poisoning right quick! Or my dog eats them.

They say the most humane way to put a cat down is with a lethal injection....yeah, well, I give them a lethal injection of lead...at 3500 fps !!!! Evil or Very Mad

Yes the dog EATS them unless stopped. Al he leaves is the tail usually.
Vince, Im in total agreement with you. No such thing as overkill when it comes to wild cats..

I'm guessing a 45-70 with a 405gr would be considered adequate. Sure don't have to clean up much.
My dog loves to "play" with the nice kitty, doesn't usually last long.
