Recoil was not too bad, seemed "fast" and "sharp" but did not seem any heavier than it did in its previous life when it weighed a pound and a half more. It almost seemed like the lighter weight had less momentum on the shoulder.
I was shooting it between rounds with the 300 Weatherby, and it seemed a fair bit less than the 300.
It also grouped better than it did in the factory plastic stock, which I attribute to the much stiffer kevlar stock.
