Someone once told me that "violence can never solve anything". I asked them to imagine that they'd walked out to their mailbox (our mailboxes are at the side of the road here) and, while they were emptying it, the heard something growl behind them. When they turned around they saw a rabid Rottweiler approaching them (yes, we have rabies around here). I asked, "Are you telling me that you can reason or negotiate with this dog? Maybe give him your wallet or watch so he'll go away?" In this particular case anyone with a brain would have to admit that violence is the ONLY answer. Now imagine that the "rabid dog" is the leader of a country acquiring nuclear weapons...
