I understand it was made by Remington for K-Mart where it was purchased but is it like the 1100? Will it take the same barrels? It looks just like a 1100 but it has a barrel for 2 3/4" shells and I want to change it to 3" shells, is it possible?

Welcome to the forums.
According to a customer review on the Cabela's site for 1100 barrels they work.
No personal experience with any semi-auto shotguns from Remington though.

Welcome to the Forum.
If your shotgun has a 2 3/4" chamber, you cannot make it shoot 3" shells even if you change the barrel. A 3' chamber barrel will probably fit the receiver, but you will still be limited to 2 3/4" shells. All the best...
