I have a Ruger 77MK II standard that is not as accurate when I put any sort of pressure on the stock (stock flex on the barrel). The gun did'nt like to have the barrel free floated . So I'm thinking of replaceing the factory stock with something really stiff like a Camo Hogue with the full block alluminum alloy frame in a poly stock. Or maybe just the pillar bed modle would be good enough. Mabey a good bedding job would too, but I don't know if I can do it myself and my gunsmith is not able to anymore.
I don't know what to do. Anybody have any advise ?

I have a hogue pillar stock on my win 70 and love it. Of course I bedded it with marine tex in addition to the pillars. But if I had to do it again, I'd get the full length block.
