Told ya it wasn't me Bushy. No question, Elvis is just a big Old Softy at heart. He saw a duck that was looking a bit poorly on the side of the road, so he bought it home to help it get better.

A bit poorly hardly cuts it..
the hen he was pursuing is dead on one side of the road and other drake in the chase dead 5 yards from where I found him.....
I picked him up in the morning and put him in lucerne/alphalpha to keep him away from road and as he hadnt moved by time I came past again 9 hrs later, he got a bike ride home down my jacket...poor wee hua had feathers off one side and one eye closed.
by next day he drank a little water...yip thats SWMBO with the syringe then he spnet time paddling around in bath tub...I splashed some water on him the next day and he started to preen his feathers..the first major movement we had seen, another night in cage and day perched on concrete block in bath and he started to move a bit more freely, by day 4 he looking ok so I sat him out on back lawn in the drizzly rain,he sat there for 1/2hr, 2 hours later he had gone.... there is another duck been bowled on that same mile of road this week.........wanting to eat the fresh grass/worms on road verge+ rampaging hormones is a dangerous mix.
