I have put together a cardboard prototype enclosure for my chronograph. When I bought it the system didn't come with a beam so I made one for without a clue that I would ever need diffusers. I had to design it to fit the beam for support and taper out and up so I would have a shooting area. It turned out pretty good so now I just have to wait for a warm enough day to go to the range and try it out.
