I finally bought a new one . The trans was acting up in the Dakota and the rebates are pretty good on the siverado right now $4505 cash back so I bit the bullet and got a new one . I like it

Vince it's got the 4.8 litre V8 Vortec ( 302 horse power ) I'll probably leave the stock rims on there for a while. ( need to get a couple of bills payed off first )

The 1998 Silverado I posted above gets 18 around town. It's the 5.7 (350 cid) Vortec engine. Soon as you get the stiffness worked out of it you should be good to go.
