That crap would fit right in here at portland!Gay mayor,"pride weekend" hold hands over the river event for gay solidarity.I had to work the memorial day weekend during the "rose parade" and at one point take the company vehicle for fuel.During that short trip I got stopped by a traffic signal-only to have about fourty of the fun luvin naked bicycle riders pass thru the intersection infront of me. The next weekend they had a 10pm night bike ride with between 5 and 10 thousand of the little naked buggers-out peddling azz around portland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Their motto;"keep portland weird"-and they do!I guess they could have been wearing pink pistols on the bike ride-but they might have been over dressed then!

Not unionized just very low wage jobs. I tell you what, if you wanna see what tree huggers can do to state then visit Oregon. A very Democrat state. One of Oregon's favorite state officials put a tax on health insurance a couple years ago. It is explained, the tax is so that those that can't afford health insurance can be subsidized. Oh and Oregon has also gone ahead with their own health care plans so we don't have to wait for Obama to turn our screws for us. G'day Suzie (if I can call you that) it sound like your mob in charge over there a real polititans just like the mob over here, make everything so complex and sound all nice and fuzzy and so good for all, ( like our carbon tax).. Why cant they just say that they wasted all the money there was and have to raise a new tax to pay it back. They must think we are all a bunch of idiots. We went from a 24 BBBillion dollar surplice to a 50 odd BBBillion deficate, federally, within one year of change of government. Now we all gotta pay more to make them look good for the next election.

We spend more on public services than we do on defense. That's why the huge idea of health care reform. Most of our tax dollars take care of the medicare recipients. Health care reform won't be enough though, because the national debt will grow faster than the reform bills have time to take effect. (like 5-10 years) The whole idea is to take money from doctors, drug makers and insurers. Obama and congress don't have the stomach for it. If the debt is more than zero, then we have to borrow (with interest). When you devalue the dollar by printing more money you also make more debt. It might seem unfair for people to blame Obama for not fixing the economy. but on the other hand, he's not fixing it. Not fixing it, is making it worse.

And of course you also add gasoline prices, because everything is tied to that. Obama and other Euro nations (but here Obama gets the credit) decided to release some gasoline from the strategic oil reserves. The release amounted to about 30 million barrels (about 10 million less than we use in a day) but it's in concert with other nations to help recover what is lost production due to the Libyan civil war. Ok that will reduce prices at the pump, but for how long? In order for it to work the Saudis need to ramp up production, to fill the gap and keep things going. Risky business. I'm not an Obama fan by any means but I have to say at least he's trying to get his balls to drop.
