There was a knock on the door this morning.

I opened it to find a young man standing there who said:

"Hello sir, I'm a Jehovah's Witness."

I said "Come in and sit down."

I offered him coffee and asked "What do you want to talk about?"

He said, "Beats the shit out of me, I've never gotten this far before."

That's is funny. Had a rash of them visit my home on the westside. Till I got an "I *heart* Satan" bumper sticker on my door. Good lad's nonetheless. They get more ribbing than most. Bunches of them here in ties, white shirts and black slacks pedaling their brains out spreading the word...always smiling too!

They started to bloom 3 weeks ago here.

About 10 years ago we had a knock on the door and my wife (now late) answered it. She was an Anglican Priest and showed up with collar on. Their answer was "Oh! Sorry to disturb you". They never came back again.

the dog takes care of our front door. they didnt visit our last place either it could have been the funny fella plucking ducks skinning goats/wallabies/possoms on the front lawn that put them off not sure why.
