Down to 86.

Joe is a damn fine lookin' mule mate. Could never get me head around the difference between a donkey, a mule and an ass (NOT arse...ass).

How is young Zeus coping with the snow and cold mate...comes lookin' for a nice warm cuddle regularly from his "Dad".

Cheers, Vince

Great picture, Bushy. Nice smile and so early in the morning. Did you break into Vince's cooler early that day. I was wonder as you didn't get your belt on straight.

Well here's an update about Mr. Bushmaster. He has always worn his belt buckle on his left side. At least sense he can remember anyway.

Why Slimjim? Bother you?

O K...Here it is...I'm right handed and I tend to lean on car fenders (when they had fenders) on my right side. Hence buckle on left side. I sometimes wear a second large buckle to hold up my gunbelt. I don't want them to clash and pinch me when stepping into the saddle. In the late '50's and early '60's it was male fashion to wear your large buckles on one side or the other. AND last, but not least. It causes people to ask stupid questions. Evil Devil

NEXT??

This explains it clearly.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mule

A mule is the offspring of a male donkey and a female horse.[1] Horses and donkeys are different species, with different numbers of chromosomes. Of the two F1 hybrids between these two species, a mule is easier to obtain than a hinny (the offspring of a male horse and a female donkey). All male mules and most female mules are infertile.

The size of a mule and work to which it is put depends largely on the breeding of the mule's dam. Mules can be lightweight, medium weight, or even, when produced from draught horse mares, of moderately heavy weight.[2]

An aficionado of the mule claims that they are "more patient, sure-footed, hardy and long-lived than horses, and they are considered less obstinate, faster, and more intelligent than donkeys."[3]

A female mule that has estrus cycles and thus, in theory, could carry a fetus is called a "molly" or "Molly mule," though the term is sometimes used to refer to female mules in general. Pregnancy is rare, but can occasionally occur naturally as well as through embryo transfer. One of several terms for a gelded mule is a "John mule."

Thanks Slim...that puts it all into perspective now mate.

Are mules deliberately bred, or are they "accidents" from the two different species being in the same paddock?

Very interesting for sure.

Cheers, Vince

Lean to one side? No...Gun offsets the buckle.

AND...I don't have a limp.
