WOW, just a blink and its now 95!!

Bushy, if the cold start to bother your OLD bones, remember in Australia is currently averaging 104F!!

Its only a quick flight away from Miserable Missouri..
The beer are cold and the wom... ahum I mean..weather are hot..

Heck if the heat get too much for you, you can always go north for a swim or stand in the wind Razz

I hear its stinking hot down your way too mate. It's the humidity up here that is getting to me. I walk three steps and I'm sweating like a...like a...like a....nope, none of the analogies we can use over here are acceptable in the US. Suffice to say that the sweat is running off me in rivulets.

-19* air temp with wind chill -35*. We had to move a couple inches of snow at work. But the company buys us good Carhartts and boots, and pays us very well. So I figure I can put up with a little cold.

Ya Slim it's great. I worked Saturday training the troops from my old unit. Most days are spent checking the simulators for functionality (playing video games), building exercises, proofing the exercises (playing video games), setting up the travel to places that require us to go to their location. Then there are actual days that we play in the simulators just so we get more proficient at operations and troubleshooting, and because it's fun. I fell into a sweet deal. I can actually say I love my job.

Yeah Geland...Oregon! It's wonderfully nice here. Mid 30*s at night and mid 50*s during the day. You'll have to convert that to Centigrade. I used to live in Tucson Arizona and it's desert but they had 19* last night and are expecting 16* tonight. Unheard of!! Yep yep Oregon's the place to be. Smart Indians here too, I've heard. Missouri's the land of mules...don't know what they're good for....armadillos...snakes...stuff like that...oh and Bush people too....don't know what they're good for either...

Missouri Red Mules, darlin'...The one I had in the USSR of C was 17.3 hands and saddle trained to work cattle.

Speaking of armadillos...I shot my third one in as many weeks yesterday. Howcome I can hit the head of an armadillo at 60 yards and can't hit that dang dart target?
