One of the guys at the mine came in yesterday needing some money and had an "old Shotgun" to sell. Turns out it is was a GECO hammer gun. These were german merchant grade guns probably made by Sauer. It is in about 90% condition and he only needed $250 for it so it found a new home. Nice piece and functions and points very well. Another homeless gun rescued from the orphanage.

minerfile, nice find! If the pictures I found on the web look like your new addition, that is one fine shotgun. Congrats!!

Same here SlimJam, I looked around the web and they're a nice collectible shotgun. I'm not a shotgun person but I'd like to know more about what you got. Lots of engravings and stampings on the ones on the internet. I noticed some with WWII markings.

I took it for granted that he doesn't want his Jim to be slim, but a jammin one is awesome. Yeah I have 'pet' names for some people. You have one too but it's in another language, one that is forbidden to speak on here. My own imposition but ladies have rules ya know.
