The new VX3 glass coatings really let the light in. The "black around the edges", although seemingly counter productive, also helps alot. I LUV my VX3. Smile

joe, that doesn't look like a lot of eye relief for a 12-guage shooting slugs. Slugs out of a pump, knock my glasses off. Does a semi-auto tame the recoil that much?

I think I will be ok with it and yes the semi's knock a good bit of recoil off..
